This Course is for Trenching & Excavation and is a common OSHA citation in the workplace. First identify the potential fall hazards in your workplace. Any time a worker is below 5 feet is a competent person must make the determination to go in. Remember people have died in as little as 4 feet excavation and 1 cubic yard ( 3 feet x 3 feet ) weighs about the same as a midsize car!
